How do I find the nearest helicopter ride?

How long are helicopter rides?
They range from short first-flight experiences to much longer sightseeing and private flights. UKHR separates the overall experience time from the advertised flying time wherever that information is available, because the time in the air is usually the most useful comparison.
What is the difference between a helicopter ride and a themed tour?
A standard ride is usually sold around a flying time or distance, while a themed tour is built around a particular sightseeing route. That might mean a city skyline, coastline, castle, football stadium, engineering landmark or historic landscape. You can browse named routes on the Themed Tours page.
What is the difference between a shared flight and a private flight?
On a shared experience you may fly with other passengers booked onto the same departure. A private flight reserves the helicopter for your own booking party, subject to the passenger capacity and restrictions of the aircraft used for that product.
Why can two different products appear to fly a similar route?
Adventure001 sometimes offers separate bookable products that use the same or a very similar local sightseeing route. They may differ in product type, price, packaging or how the experience is sold. UKHR keeps genuinely separate choices visible rather than merging them into one option.

No. UK Helicopter Rides does not take payments or manage bookings. When you choose to book, you continue to our operations partner, Adventure001, where the transaction is completed.

Adventure001 is our operations partner and operates the helicopter experiences shown through UKHR. They also handle the booking, voucher, redemption and customer-service side of the experience.
Can I buy a helicopter ride as a gift?

How long is a voucher valid?

Can I guarantee the front seat beside the pilot?
Yes. On standard helicopter rides, the front seat beside the pilot can be added as an optional upgrade at the time of booking, where offered. The Ultimate Co-Pilot Experience is different again: the front passenger seat is the focus of the experience rather than an added seat upgrade.
